Softens your water so that less limescale is built up inside your espresso machine – this is very important for semi-commercial machines with heat exchangers as well as many other electric pump-driven espresso machines.
Specifications:
- Resins are rechargeable for up to 6 months – recommended to recharge at least twice a month with salt OR every 24 liters of water., whichever is sooner.

Replace the unit every 6 months to avoid mold, fungal, and/or bacteria buildup. Replace sooner if the unit does not allow water to flow through after a recharge and after confirming the electrical pump does intake water through the hose without the softener
- Can be used in all pump model espresso machines that have a water intake tube in the espresso machine’s reservoir.
- This can not be used in espresso machines with direct water/plumbed in connections or where there is a bottom feed of water from the reservoir (meaning water exits through the bottom).

Returns
To be eligible for a return your items must fall under these guidelines.
Returns accepted and refunds provided only on units deemed defective by Manufacture, and within first 5 days of customer receipt (may differ by brand). The following guideline(s) apply to all returns:
Products must be in new condition and unopened. Custom ordered products cannot be returned or refunded.
Returned products must be sent back with their original packaging and have all of the parts and components that they came with.
Please document (photograph) any damages upon receiving the item and report these damages to the delivery carrier if product was sent by LTL or freight.
Some items may additionally be subject to a restocking fee. Customer is responsible for return shipping and original shipping cost, even if the item was "free shipping".
We Highly recommend you read through our refund policy & return policy page as ALL brands have different terms in regard to returns and refund. Please contact us on a particular product that you are interested in and we will respond within 24 hours with the precise information for that product.
To request a return, please email us with your order number at support@averproducts.com and you will be issued a return authorization number (RA#). Your return authorization number must be clearly marked on all shipping labels and must be written on a note or your packing slip and placed inside the package. We are unable to accept general returns on items that require palletized shipping. You (the customer) are responsible for return shipping costs. Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Please Note (for espresso machines and grinders only)
• If there is any box damage, immediately note it on the Carrier Provider signature line. No notation means you (the customer) accepted the shipment in good order.
• If the arrives wet allow to air dry for at least 24 hours before plugging in. All units are drained after testing but not all water can be removed. Some water may dislodge during shipping.
• If there are any concealed damages or defects found once outside of the box, please notify us within 5 business days.
• You must keep the original box and packaging if the unit must be shipped back.
